Jeff Smith, Owner & President
Jeff was born and raised in Sackville, NB. He grew up on a farm consisting of beef cattle and draft horses. This has given him the opportunity to work with a variety of farm equipment from a very young age. He understands what the everyday farmer’s needs are and the effort that also has to be put forth to accomplish certain goals. Having this knowledge along with past sales experience made it a good choice for Mr. Smith to commence the operation of Maple Leaf Tractors and Equipment Inc.
Cathy Hebert, Controller
Maple Leaf Tractors and Equipment is very fortunate to have Cathy as part of our team. Cathy’s dedication, work ethic and trustworthy character have been proven time and time again as she excels in her role as Controller. She has been working in an office environment over the past 31 years at various offices throughout New Brunswick.
Pier Klompmaker, Field Service
Mr. Klompmaker received his Farm Equipment Service Technician degree from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, he has also received his ROVC from Holland Community College in Diesel Engines. Mr. Klompmaker has gained over 30 years experience in maintenance, repair, and operation of farm equipment. Design, fabrication and customizing various types of farm equipment for better performance is something that Pier is spectacular at doing.
Randy Goss, Shop Foreman
Mr. Goss grew up working on a dairy farm, this is what sparked the interest in working in the agricultural field. Randy received his Farm Equipment Technician Diploma through Nova Scotia Agriculture College and holds a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic License. To this, Mr. Goss has added a Forklift Operator Certificate, Basic Fall Arrest training certificate, Air Conditioning Certificate, and a crane operation and safety training course. He has worked for over 30 years as an agriculture technician.
Ray McGraw, Sales Manager
Mr. McGraw received his sales certificate from the NBCC-Dieppe in 2001. Ray has since gained experience in sales and service with over 20 years in the Heavy and Agricultural Equipment industry. He focuses on helping customers succeed and developing long-term relationships. Ray believes the agricultural field to be his best fit and is a valuable asset to Maple Leaf Tractors and Equipment Inc. Being fully bilingual helps him communicate and translate equipment-related topics as well as any request from customers.
Steven Walters, Parts Counter
Steven was born and raised by a generation of farmers in the northern part of New Brunswick. He learned how to use and fix a tractor at an early age. Farming has defined him ever since. As he continues on this legacy with his own hobby farm, he understands the daily challenges and joys of farming. He also recognizes the need for a ready team and quality equipment. Over the past 25 years, he worked in the automotive and agriculture industry where he continues to develop relationships.
Ben Welling, Shop Service Tech
Benjamin grew up on and still lives on a beef farm, this led him to an interest in working in the agricultural field. Ben received his Agricultural Equipment Repair Diploma with High Honours through the New Brunswick Community College, Moncton Campus.
Ken Klompmaker, Field Service
Following in his father Pier’s footsteps in the agricultural industry. Kenneth has a broad range of experience on and off the farm. Kenneth graduated from NBCC Miramichi with a Heavy Equipment Service Technician Diploma. Where he received first place in the New Brunswick skills competition. Kenneth is our field and shop technician who is always there to help our team.
Matt Leblanc, Parts Counter
Matt has over 20 years of experience in the parts and service industry. Matt is the proud owner of his own snow removal business, operating a few tractors. Matt graduated from NBCC Moncton with an Automotive Technician diploma. Matt is fully bilingual and is always ready to take on a new challenge.
